- Periodically throughout the year, we host small social skill-based gatherings. Each event focuses on a sub-set of social skills dependent upon the theme and goal of the group. All groups, no matter the focus or theme, have some things in common:
- Small settings to focus on appropriate engagements
- Inclusivity: (non-verbal, verbal, ready to engage, anxiety about engaging, learning skills, has skills) Everyone is invited to join.
- Promotes social skills
- Encourages parent feedback
- Promotes education and advocacy methods to parents
- Makes time for each and every family to feel involved and part of the process
